Although Schertz is is a great community full of friendly people it is somewhat limited for options in comparison to what you may find for a quick 20 to 30 minute drive. Crescent Bend Nature Park is really the best place I know of in Schertz. If you have any other great spots, I would love to hear about it. Shoot me and email and let me know, if you do.
